A life in music.THE ARTIST & THE ART
New Orleans is where the story begins. Jazz is how it keeps unfolding.
Yvette G. Spears is a jazz vocalist, narrator, producer, and cultural curator whose work brings music, theater, history, and storytelling into the same room. Born in New Orleans and based in the Washington, DC area, she carries the spirit of her hometown into every creative conversation.
As founder of Beaux Arts Collective and curator of Voices from the Jazz Boutique, Yvette creates performances that connect a song to the people, places, and memories behind it. Her artistic world moves from an intimate cabaret to the concert stage, from a jazz standard to a story that deserves to be heard.
Her work in cultural exchange also extends through her role as Jazz Ambassador for NOSACONN International.
